What better reason to travel to Thailand than to learn to cool authentic Lanna style Thai food on a cooking holiday? The Four Season’s Cooking School is located in the city of Chiang Mai. The resort will transport you to a mystic land with the misty mountains and lush rice patties surrounding you. While at the Four Seasons you will be in a state of total relaxation and luxury. They have some of the world’s best spas located on the premises which can be utilized while not in learning mode, if you can bring yourself to leave your exquisite finished room.
Cooking School Accommodations:
As a Four Season’s Cooking School student while on your cooking holiday you will be living in their Garden Pavilion rooms that are located within the resort’s sumptuous tropical gardens. Each opulently decorated room has its own private outdoor atrium area. You will engulfed by the garden sounds and scents while you lounge on your own Thai style settee. You can even eat your meals in your private outdoor space if you choose, as they have thought of everything and included a dining table and a fan to stay cool. After a “hard” day of learning, come back to your indulgent oversized soaking tub with more views of the gardens and then melt into your plush bed.
Four Season’s Cooking School Experience:
While on your cooking holiday you will learn to cook Tom Yum Goong, a spicy soup with shrimp and Kaow Soi Gai, a curry soup with chicken. Each guest can have their own start of the art cooking station or there is plenty of space to share. The space has been professionally designed by the famous Bensley Design Studios in Bangkok. However, the views could be distracting with the beautiful mountains and waterfalls. Each day begins at 7:00 am and ends at 2:30 pm with varying activities and lessons each day. The classes are available Monday through Saturday.
No Better Excuse:
If you have been waiting for the perfect reason to vacation to Thailand this is it. Treat yourself to a cooking holiday and the memories will last a lifetime. Plus you will come home with skills that will impress all of your family and friends, not to mention the amazing pictures you will take along the way. So do it, book your next vacation at Four Season’s Cooking School there is no time like the present and no better excuse than to learn something new.
